The Role

We’re looking for a talented Fabric / Data Consultant with expertise in Azure and Power BI to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with cutting‑edge technology, developing robust data architectures, and driving strategic business intelligence initiatives. Essential

Expertise :
  • Proven experience in data engineering with exposure to Azure Synapse or Azure Data Factory or Databricks.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or a strong willingness to learn and adapt to its ecosystem.
  • Proficiency in Python programming with a focus on data manipulation and engineering.
  • A genuine interest in data science and a drive to expand your skillset into predictive analytics, machine learning, or statistical modelling.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a passion for optimising workflows.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to thrive in a dynamic consultancy environment.
  • Data modelling experience and understanding of the Kimball methodology
Desirable Expertise :
  • DP-600 – Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
  • PL-300 – Power BI Data Analyst Associate
  • DP-700 – Fabric Data Engineer Associate

Responsibilities :

  • Design, build, and optimise high‑performance data pipelines and ETL workflows using tools like Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks or Microsoft Fabric.
  • Implement scalable solutions to ingest, store, and transform vast datasets, ensuring data availability and quality across the organisation.
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable Python code tailored to data engineering tasks.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to support machine‑learning initiatives and advanced data modelling.
  • Drive innovation by researching and integrating the latest cloud‑based technologies and frameworks.
