Job DescriptionWe’ve designed our programme to combine practical skills development with technical learning, dedicating 20 % of your time to a mixture of virtual and classroom training. You will apply this knowledge to ground‑breaking projects while gaining a Digital and Technology Solutions Professional (BSc) Degree from the University of Exeter. The apprenticeship exposes you to a broad range of technology roles across:
Regulatory & Cross‑Product Technology, Corporate Bank Technology Production, and Post‑Trade Technology.
- Gain hands‑on experience supporting mission‑critical banking applications.
- Learn how production environments operate and assist with incident resolution.
- Participate in incident triage, risk management and automation initiatives.
- Apply technical knowledge on live systems under the guidance of experienced engineers.
- Engage in structured learning and collaborative projects that drive innovation.
You will need to have achieved, by the start of the programme:
- GCSE in Maths and English at grades A*–C (4–9) or equivalent.
- BBB from your A‑Levels (120 UCAS points) or equivalent.
- At least one of the following subjects:
Maths, Further Maths, Computer Science, or IT.
You must meet government funding requirements, hold a British or EU passport, and provide immigration documents such as work visas and biometric resident permits. Candidates should have lived in the EU for the past three years.
