We have an exciting new permanent opportunity for a dynamic Data Engineer to join a fantastic & growing team as the business has just embarked on a data transformation journey. This role will give you the chance to showcase your expertise to help shape data integration methodologies, processes, and standards, driving adoption and best practices across the team.

• Work closely with Data Architects, Developers, and business stakeholders on building and maintaining efficient data pipelines between Dynamics 365 CRM, Azure SQL databases, SharePoint, and analytical platforms using SSIS, Azure Data Factory, and Kingsway Soft.
• Design, develop, and maintain complex SSIS packages and Azure Data Factory pipelines; orchestrate data flows between multiple sources.
• Write and optimize complex T‑SQL queries, performing performance tuning and query optimisation.
• Participate in BAU activities and support ongoing data integration initiatives.

• Good experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM data structures and architecture.
• Proven expertise in creating and maintaining Azure Data Factory pipelines.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and strong T‑SQL skills.
• Experience with data optimisation, query performance tuning.
• Proactive, good communication skills and ability to engage with people at different levels (technical & non‑technical).

• Hybrid position—remote most of the time with 1–2 days per week in the office, central Birmingham.
• Full‑time, 35 hours per week.
