SharePoint SME – Birmingham (6-Month FTC) – Hybrid – Competitive Salary

Viqu is partnering with a leading global law firm to recruit a SharePoint Subject Matter Expert (SME) on a 6-month fixed term. The role will focus on optimizing, managing, and evolving the firm’s SharePoint environment (on-premise and Azure cloud), ensuring high-performing, resilient services for users and business teams.

• Act as the SharePoint SME, providing expert guidance across on-premise and Azure cloud environments.
• Lead platform upgrades, deployments, and performance optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions.
• Integrate SharePoint with SSO, MFA, and Azure services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex SharePoint and web platform issues.
• Mentor and coach team members on SharePoint best practices.
• Maintain documentation, knowledge articles, and CMDB updates to improve service efficiency.
• Identify and implement improvements to enhance platform resilience and performance.

• Proven experience as a SharePoint SME with on-premise and cloud (Azure) environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with SSO, MFA, and Azure integrations desirable.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proactive, analytical, and able to recommend service improvements.
• Experience mentoring and coaching junior team members.
