Network engineer - Cisco Meraki — Permanent — Remote. Responsibilities include supporting on-premise networking services with some overlap into cloud services (Azure, Zscaler). The Server and Networks team focuses on on-premise networking and server hardware, with responsibility for zScaler configuration and potential Azure networking via Terraform in a cloud-first environment.

• Design, Implement, Manage and Maintain enterprise-scale networking with a focus on security, performance and scalability
• Manage and maintain hardware from vendors including Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Dell and others
• Ensure performance of office-based Wi-Fi solutions (Meraki) and maintain signal strength
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance to minimize downtime
• Maintain on-premise server and network infrastructure (cabling, UPS, rack management)
• Maintain patching and firmware update schedules for on-premise network and server hardware
• Manage and maintain the configuration of existing zScaler deployments (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX, ZCC)
• Assist the platform team with cloud-to-onprem networking requirements (Site-to-Site VPNs, Azure edge networking)
• Collaborate with Security Team on best-practice network security and ZTNA initiatives
• Document the server and network estate (diagrams, asset registers)
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide out-of-hours support as required
• Attend sites globally to support on-premise deployments

• 7+ years of hands-on server and network engineering experience in mid to large global enterprise environments
• Experience with Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, zScaler and Azure; certifications are advantageous (e.g., CCNP, Meraki CMNA, PCNSE, ZCCA-IA/ZCCA-PA)
• Strong understanding of network security principles (VPNs, SD-WAN, IPSec, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
• Knowledge of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, VPN, NAT, ACLs)
• Experience with monitoring and performance tools (Solar Winds, Wireshark)
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Familiarity with Terraform for IaC and Azure Dev Ops pipelines
• Experience with cloud-native security models and SIEM/SOC integration
• Knowledge of ITIL and Change Control Processes
