Implementation Specialist; PowerMax, VMAX

Our blue chip client is seeking highly skilled Senior Implementation Specialists to join their team. As a Senior Implementation Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and configuring Power Max and VMAX arrays, as well as providing expert-level support for data migration, replication, and storage management. You will work closely with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.

This is a 12 months contract inside IR35 and the role is fully remote.

• Strong knowledge of Power Max and VMAX arrays, including data migration, replication, and storage management
• Experience with SRDF, Open Replicator, and Symmetrix NDM
• Expert-level understanding of Unisphere for Power Max and its functionality and architecture
• Must have experience working in large-scale environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work closely with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions
• Strong technical skills, including hardware and software configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization
• Experience with storage provisioning concepts, serviceability access and activities, and Storage Class Memory benefits
• Ability to stay up-to-date with new features and enhancements in Power Max and VMAX arrays
• Required skill – Pure, Symmetrix

• Implement and configure Power Max and VMAX arrays, including data migration, replication, and storage management
• Provide expert-level support for data migration, replication, and storage management
• Understand and implement new features and enhancements in Power Max and VMAX arrays, including SRDF, Open Replicator, and Symmetrix NDM
• Compare and contrast Power Max and VMAX models, including hardware components and configuration options
• Describe license management, local replication management options, and remote replication management options
• Provide detailed explanations of new hardware, software enhancements, and additions within the latest release(s)
• Describe the functions of commonly used Solutions Enabler daemons and the installation of Solutions Enabler
• Provide expert-level support for Unisphere for Power Max administration tasks, including configuration options, serviceability, and management updates
• Summarize software offerings and provide an overview of storage management in a virtualized environment
