Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Observability Engineer with deep expertise in Dynatrace to design, build, and enhance advanced dashboards that provide real-time visibility into application and system performance. This role will work closely with engineering, SRE, and platform teams to improve monitoring, detect performance issues early, and support reliable service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build advanced Dynatrace dashboards to deliver clear visibility into system performance.
  • Apply strong understanding of observability concepts (metrics, logs, traces) to improve monitoring coverage.
  • Use tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Time-series databases to support observability needs.
  • Work with APM tools to analyze performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize application behavior.
  • Collaborate with teams across cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container platforms (Kubernetes).
  • Leverage knowledge of application technologies such as Java, Python, and microservices to interpret monitoring data.
  • Apply understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and networking basics to build effective dashboards and troubleshoot issues.
  • Provide clear reporting and communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Several years of hands‑on experience with Dynatrace, especially building advanced dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of observability principles (metrics, logs, traces).
  • Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and Time‑series data systems.
  • Solid knowledge of APM tools, application behavior, and performance troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP and containerization (Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of Java, Python, microservices, and modern application architectures.
  • Good understanding of web technologies and networking fundamentals.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, verbal, and written communication skills.
