We are currently for a Chief Information Officer to join a company in Birmingham, B9.
Main duties for the Chief Information Officer role:
* Manage day-to-day IT operations across the business
* Ensure systems, networks, and devices run securely and efficiently
* Act as the primary point of contact for all IT-related issues and improvement
* Maintain and support networks, servers, and cloud services (e.g., Microsoft 365)
* Oversee hardware, software, and license management
* Deliver hands-on 1st–3rd line support to users
* Manage backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes
* Lead small-scale IT projects (upgrades, migrations, new systems)
* Liaise with third-party suppliers and software vendors
* Experience with cloud migrations or VoIP systems
* Updating design software’s with latest versions, margins and catalogues
* PDQ card machine management – Annual PCI DSS Compliance
* Active Directory and Group Policy administration
* Install & configure a wide range of hardware (including printers, phones, laptops, biometric clocking systems)
* Global administration with Office 365 Enterprise E3
* Occasional working out of hours for system configuration and update
* Print management, setup, install and diagnose
ERP
* Oversee day-to-day ERP operations and system performance
* Lead configuration, enhancement, and rollout of ERP modules (e.g., finance, inventory, production, HR, sales)
* Work with departments to analyse processes and define system requirements
* Manage change requests, updates, integrations, and release cycles
* Maintain data integrity, security, and user access controls
* Coordinate with external vendors, implementation partners, and support providers
* Develop and maintain system documentation, workflows
* Deliver user training, onboarding, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Monitor and report on ERP usage, performance metrics, and adoption
* Support integration with third-party applications (e.g., CRM, BI)
* Updating pricing files where required
* Support sale staff with issues and corrections within the system
* Update system to latest versions
