Talent Acquisition Consultant at Brown and Brown Account Broker
Location: Birmingham
As a result of our continued growth and success in the insurance market we are seeking an ambitious and driven Account Broker to join our team in Birmingham.
Office based support for Account Managers. Day-to-day point of contact for clients in relation to basic policy administration – duties to include support with credit limits, policy documentation, overdue accounts, claims, declarations of turnover, accounting queries, processing of no claims/low claims bonuses.
The Day To Day:- Establishing and maintaining client records in hard copy files and Goldmine database;
- Supporting/advising clients with credit limit applications, appeals and monitoring progress of these;
- Advising clients in relation to reporting of overdue accounts;
- Support for clients in relation to submission and negotiation of claims;
- Advising clients in relation to declarations of turnover and submission of these as appropriate;
- Support for clients in relation to accounting queries – premium payments, policy adjustments etc;
- Support for colleagues in relation to management of renewal negotiations;
- Undertake discussions with underwriters, as appropriate, in relation to all of the above;
- Ensure that Xenia Brand and code of conduct is adhered to at all times both within the workplace or at other external events;
- Adhere to Xenia policies;
- Refer any matter beyond the level of an individual’s experience or authority to their line manager;

- 2+ years experience in Trade Credit Insurance
- Be proficient in the use of the Acturis system and have previous experience in using insurer and broker portals
- You’ll be able a natural communicator working with colleagues and insurer partners at all levels.
- Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft office applications particularly Outlook, Word and Excel and
- You should also be confident in dealing with stakeholders at all levels and have a wider skill set that includes strong communication (both written and verbal), negotiation, sales and IT Skills.
