Senior Legal Officer - Right to Buy

Senior Legal Officer - Right to Buy West Midlands Hybrid or Remote £25 - £30 umbrella per hour Sellick Partnership are working with a Local Authority seeking an experienced Property Senior Legal Officer / Senior Paralegal with considerable Right to Buy experience. This role will be offered on an initial 3-month basis, with a strong likelihood of extension. The majority of the role can be worked remotely, with office attendance desirable but not essential.

The purpose of the role is to:
Progress allocated Right to Buy cases in accordance with all the relevant legislative and procedural requirements in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner. Opening files, preparing letters and emails to clients and keeping the client regularly informed. Drafting Lease or Transfer and sending out Legal Packs. Dealing with queries. Preparing and carrying out completions. Post completion work. Deeds of postponement.

Right of first refusal. The client is ideally looking for someone with experience of working within a local authority setting, but experience in all of the above areas from a private sector background may also be considered.
