Clinical Negligence Solicitor, 5+ Years PQE, Birmingham, £52,500+ (DOE) – A new role for a motivated Solicitor with at least 5 years PQE to manage complex and high-value defendant clinical negligence claims. JOB .

THE ROLE:

• Manage a caseload of complex clinical negligence claims (litigated and pre-litigated)

• Conduct timely and efficient investigations to defend or conclude claims

• Liaise effectively with litigants in person, claimant solicitors, clients, counsel, and experts

• Contribute to business development and operational supervision

• Complete MI procedures and comply with client protocols

• Lead client-facing and business development initiatives

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Qualified solicitor with minimum 5 years PQE

• Genuine interest in healthcare law and clinical negligence (defendant experience preferred, claimant experience welcomed)

• Strong technical knowledge of CPR and healthcare legal frameworks

• Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills

• Rigorous investigative and analytical abilities

• Ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines

• Flexible, proactive, and team-oriented mindset
