Las Vegas Petroleum is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Porter to join our team. As a Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities, ensuring a pleasant environment for both our customers and staff. This role is crucial to our operations, as we strive to provide exceptional service at our travel centers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning of facilities, including restrooms, lobbies, and other common areas.
• Regularly empty trash bins and replace liners, disinfect surfaces, and ensure all areas are presentable.
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and reporting larger maintenance issues.
• Set up and break down equipment and furniture for meetings and events.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer needs and inquiries as they arise.
• Monitor cleaning supply levels and inform management when supplies are running low.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a janitorial or custodial role is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
