General Hygiene Technician - Team Leader

West Midlands (Birmingham/Lichfield)

£27,500-£30,000 + Structured Shift Pattern (4-day week then 5-day week) + Progression + Company Benefits

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Hygiene Technician to step into a Team Leader role within a respected specialist ventilation and cleaning services company who will support you through industry training and clear
development pathways.

On offer is the chance to work for a well-established market leader, where you will play a key role in delivering essential hygiene services across a wide range of commercial sites. This is a varied position where you will have the opportunity to liaise with customers and take an active role in guiding team operations.

The business has a strong reputation within the industry and has continued to expand through their commitment to quality, compliance, and innovation. As part of their ongoing growth, they are looking to strengthen their hygiene team with someone who can support further development.

The ideal candidate will hold a GHT qualification with experience in TR19 ductwork cleaning, possess a full UK driving licence, and the ability lead and motivate a team. Experience working at height or in confined spaces is advantageous.

The Role :

Deliver specialist grease hygiene services across multiple UK client sites
Clean canopies, ductwork and fan units to TR19 industry standards
Install access panels and complete risk assessments to maintain compliance
Work flexible evening/night shifts on an alternating 4-day/5-day pattern

The Candidate:

Holds a GHT qualification with proven TR19 ductwork cleaning experience
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide
Strong leadership ability with experience guiding or supporting teams
Capable of working at height or in confined spaces, with a strong commitment to quality and safety
