A well-established, family-run Mechanical & Electrical contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their growing team.

The business has built a strong reputation delivering commercial refurbishment projects across the UK, with the majority of work based in the Midlands. Project values typically range up to £2 million, covering sectors such as commercial offices, education, healthcare, and industrial refurbishments.

You will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple mechanical packages from pre-construction through to final account.

• Managing mechanical projects from handover to completion
• Overseeing site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Programming works, labour planning, and progress reporting
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
• Managing variations, valuations, and final accounts
• Ensuring compliance with H&S and company standards
• Liaising closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Contracts Manager (or strong Mechanical Project Manager looking to step up)
• Background delivering commercial refurbishment projects
• Strong mechanical building services knowledge
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• SMSTS / CSCS (preferred)
• Full UK driving licence
