Job Description & How to Apply Below
We are working on behalf of a highly regarded, national commercial property and asset management business to appoint a Property Management Surveyor into a growing surveying team.

This is an opportunity to join a progressive organisation that manages a significant UK and international commercial portfolio on behalf of institutional investors, funds and property owners. The business is well known for taking a modern, values-led approach to property management, placing equal emphasis on commercial performance, occupier experience and responsible asset stewardship.

Rather than a traditional, tick-box property management role, this position offers real scope to add value, influence outcomes and work collaboratively across surveying, building consultancy and customer experience teams.

You will take responsibility for a defined portfolio of commercial properties, overseeing the day-to-day management and acting as the key point of contact for clients, occupiers and service partners. The role has broad exposure, covering service delivery, compliance, financial management, occupier engagement and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day management of a commercial property portfolio, ensuring high-quality service delivery
Oversight of statutory, regulatory and internal compliance, including audits, assessments and control documentation
Working closely with building consultancy colleagues on planned works, PPMs and long-term asset replacement planning
Managing service charge budgets, authorising supplier payments and submitting funding requests to clients
Reading, interpreting and administering leases, ensuring occupier compliance and managing consents, alterations and licences
Supporting client instructions including acquisitions, disposals and due diligence activity
Leading and supporting on-site and office-based teams in line with company values
Proactively engaging with occupiers through forums, meetings and customer experience initiatives
Managing onboarding and handover of new or outgoing instructions, including involvement in TUPE processes where applicable  Skills, Experience & Attributes
Proven experience in commercial property management
MRICS qualification desirable (not essential)
Strong knowledge of service charge management, compliance and landlord & tenant matters
Confident communicator, able to engage effectively with clients, occupiers, suppliers and internal teams
Strong written skills, including reporting and formal correspondence
Organised, proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
Comfortable embracing change, technology and new ways of working
Full UK driving licence desirable
