£38,000 – £42,000 + Excellent Benefits | 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights) | Birmingham

We are working with a well-established and expanding FMCG manufacturer seeking skilled Maintenance Engineers to support a modern, high-volume production site in Birmingham. This is a great opportunity to secure a long-term role within a business investing heavily in people, equipment, and future growth.

The Role

Working within a fast-paced FMCG environment, you’ll be responsible for a balanced mix of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance, ensuring machinery and production lines operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.

Key responsibilities will include:

Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on automated manufacturing and packaging equipment

Fault-finding and effective breakdown response in a time-critical production environment

Supporting continuous improvement, reliability, and engineering-led initiatives

Working closely with production teams to maintain output, safety, and quality standards

This role operates on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, rotating days and nights, offering a clear rota and built-in rest periods.

What We’re Looking For

Experienced Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical or Multi-Skilled)

Background in FMCG, manufacturing, or automated production environments

Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive maintenance mindset

Reliable, flexible, and motivated to progress within a growing organisation
