Are you a CNC Miller Operator/Setter looking for a days-based role, Monday to Friday, with the option for Programming Training?
This company is a long-established, family-run precision engineering company based in Birmingham. Founded in 1945, they specialise in CNC and conventional machining, producing prototypes, one-off components, and small to medium batch work for a wide range of industries across the UK. The company is a stable and expanding family‑run business and this is the reason for the new vacancy.
In this autonomous role you will be operating and setting a CNC milling machine, working on all kinds of metals and plastics. You will be manufacturing bespoke products for a variety of industries, resulting in a stimulating ever‑changing workload. Training on programming will be given for the right candidate.
This role would suit a CNC Miller Operator/Setter who has enough experience that allows them to work with little supervision. The wanted candidate should be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and work to a tight tolerance. This is a low volume manufacturing role. Training is available on programming.
