We are working with a growing food manufacturing business based in Leicester, on the search for a hands‑on, strategically minded Generalist Marketing Manager to help build a standout brand in the fresh, authentic meals and snacks space.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a marketer who enjoys both shaping brand strategy and executing day‑to‑day activity. The business has a small in‑house team, including a designer and a social media specialist, and is now looking for someone to take ownership of marketing and external communications.

The Marketing Manager will:

• Own and develop the brand story, positioning and tone of voice
• Lead external communications, with a particular focus on improving PR and brand visibility
• Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns from concept through to execution
• Be hands‑on across content, launches, partnerships and brand activity
• Manage and collaborate with agencies and freelancers as required
• Play a key role in taking an early‑stage brand and helping turn it into a household name

This role will suit someone comfortable operating in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment, where ideas are encouraged and impact is visible.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a strong generalist marketer with a brand‑led background
• Enjoys being hands‑on while thinking strategically
• Has experience working with both larger organisations and smaller, growing brands
• Brings PR experience and knows how to generate meaningful coverage
• Is a creative thinker who enjoys challenging the status quo
• Is an energetic, confident communicator
• Can commute to Leicester for occasional head office visits
