My client is an established precision engineering manufacturer based in Birmingham and commutable from Walsall, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Solihull and Tamworth.

They are currently looking for a skilled precision Quality Inspector to join their team.

The Role:

Quality Inspector
- Inspection of precision-machined components
- CMM Operating (training can be provided)
- Using a wide range of measuring tools and techniques
- Working from drawings
- Quality control of components
- Carry out any other duties as required and deemed appropriate
- Complies with all Company rules, including all Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements

Minimum Skills / Experience

Required:

Quality Technician
- Experience in Quality Inspection on precision-machined components
- CMM Operating experience - or keen to learn
- Precision engineering and working to tight tolerances
- Experience in the Aerospace or Motorsport industry, or another precision industry
- Experience working from engineering drawings
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a high level of quality standards achieved
- Motivated and excellent team player

The Package:
Quality Inspector
- Starting rate up to £17 per hour, dependent on experience
- Afternoon shifts are Mon - Thurs, 08:00-17:00 and Friday, 08:00-13:00
- Pension
- 31 Days Holidays
