As a Breakfast Busperson, you will support the breakfast service team by keeping the dining area clean, stocked, and guest‑ready while assisting servers in delivering friendly, efficient service.

What will I be doing?

The Breakfast Busperson supports daily breakfast operations by setting and clearing tables, stocking service stations, and assisting food servers throughout service. This position helps maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall flow of the breakfast area while ensuring service standards are met.

The Breakfast Busperson works closely with the breakfast and culinary teams to deliver a smooth and welcoming dining experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dining Room & Service Support
    • Set, clear, and reset dining tables according to Embassy Suites and Hilton standards
    • Prepare tables for service by cleaning surfaces, folding napkins, and placing tableware
    • Ensure all service ware is clean, stocked, and in proper working condition
    • Serve guests beverages, breads, and butter to begin their dining experience
    • Assist food servers with table service as needed
  • Cleanliness & Organization
    • Clear dirty table settings promptly and transport tableware to the dishwashing area
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of breakfast service stations
    • Stock and replenish service areas throughout breakfast service
    • Monitor dining room cleanliness and assist with maintaining a welcoming environment
  • Guest Service
    • Greet guests warmly and respond to requests in a friendly, timely, and professional manner
    • Support a positive guest experience by anticipating needs and assisting as requested
    • Communicate guest concerns or service needs to leadership as appropriate
  • Schedule & Availability
    • Open AM availability required, including weekends and holidays
    • Weekday shifts typically begin at 5:30am and end at 11:30am
    • Weekend shifts typically begin at 6:30am and end at 12:30pm
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous restaurant, banquet, or hospitality experience preferred but not required

    Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
  • Friendly attitude with a commitment to guest service
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
  • Reliable attendance with flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a hotel or hospitality environment
  • Prior breakfast, restaurant, or banquet service experience
  • Experience working in a team‑based, guest‑facing role
