Class 1 Driver

Class 1 & 2 Driver - Birmingham
Pay: £15.94 p/hour / £17.86 p/hour with holiday pay, (Weekly Pay, PAYE Only)
Plus shift premiums per shift

Hours:

Full-Time,
45 hours per week, Mon-Fri,
6am/7am starts, 9 hour shifts

Gi Group are looking for reliable and motivated Class 1 & 2 Drivers for ongoing work with a carrier company based in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and well-established logistics company with consistent work and great benefits.

Your Responsibilities as a Class 1 & 2 Driver:

* Plan and complete 4-6 deliveries per shift

* Transport Cages, Pallets, Freights, Stillages, and Yorks to and from customer locations

* Perform vehicle checks and ensure trailers are in safe working order

* Load and unload goods (where necessary)

* Accurately scan consignments and operate pallet trucks where required

What You'll Need as a Class 1 & 2 Driver:

* Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license + Driver CPC & DIGI Cards

* Minimum 2 years Class 1 license + 6 months Class 1 driving experience

* Max 6 SP penalty points accepted (no other endorsements)

* DBS check required

* 5 years of work / education history (for security clearance)

* Reliable, flexible, self-motivated, and safety focused
