Heavy Equipment Mechanic

First Military Recruitment is recruiting for a Class 2 HIAB driver at a family‑run business based in Tyseley, Birmingham. The business is expanding its fleet and requires additional permanent drivers. Ex‑military personnel are welcome but all applications will be considered.

First Military Recruitment provides the pay range. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

Class 2 HGV driver with HIAB experience will be responsible for safely transporting units and maintaining customer satisfaction. The role requires excellent organisational skills, a positive attitude, and strong business relationships.

• Transport units safely and efficiently.
• Represent the company positively to customers and maintain solid relationships.
• Plan and prioritise daily workload.
• Complete all relevant paperwork.
• Participate in ongoing development and security programmes.

• Current Class 2 driving licence.
• Experience with vehicle mounted crane (Hook Extension). HIAB experience preferred.
• Full CPC and DIGI tacho card.
• Flexible approach to work.
• Professional and positive attitude.
