Pure Staff are recruiting for experienced 7.5 Tonne Day Drivers to work with a well-established business within the metal and manufacturing industry based in Birmingham. This 7.5 Tonne Day Driver role offers flexibility, regular work throughout the week and a supportive transport team that values its drivers.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a 7.5 Tonne Day Driver
, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering products to commercial customers across the region and nationwide
• Completing between 1 and 4 deliveries per shift
• Safely loading and unloading deliveries
• Manual handling and handballing where required
• Completing accurate delivery paperwork using an electronic POD device
• Performing daily vehicle checks
• Ensuring compliance with all transport legislation and driver regulations

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday ongoing work
• Optional Saturday and Sunday overtime available
• Typical start times between 05:00 and 08:00
• Flexible start times available where possible
• Shift lengths typically between 8 and 12 hours
• Long-term, ongoing assignments

Requirements

To be considered for this 7.5 Tonne Day Driver position, you must have:

• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous commercial driving experience preferred
• Good geographical knowledge
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to complete manual handling duties safely
• Reliable and professional approach to work
