About the Role
We are currently recruiting a dependable and experienced Warehouse Operative with a valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) licence to join our busy warehouse team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a full-time role within a fast-paced operation, offering competitive pay, stability, and opportunities for progression.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a Counterbalance FLT in line with company procedures and health & safety standards
Load and unload deliveries from vehicles efficiently
Move, stack, and store goods accurately within designated warehouse locations
Carry out stock checks and support accurate inventory control
Assist with general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, and dispatch
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times
Requirements
A valid, in-date Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)
Previous experience working within a warehouse or distribution environment
Strong awareness of health and safety practices
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Good attention to detail and time-management skills
A reliable and positive attitude to work
