Application Support Engineer Apprentice

Are you ready to solve complex problems and support critical business applications? Do you enjoy working with technology, troubleshooting issues, and helping systems run smoothly?

Join our Application Support Engineer Apprenticeship Programme and gain hands‑on experience supporting real‑time systems and applications that keep our business running.

• Provide second‑line technical support and triage for key business applications
• Diagnose faults, monitor system states, and deliver fixes or workarounds
• Liaise with internal teams and third‑party vendors to resolve issues
• Support Power Platform development, including Power Apps and automations
• Ensure service levels are met and contribute to continuous improvement
• Maintain documentation and follow best practices in support and change management

• 🎓 Study for a Level 4 industry‑recognised Apprenticeship
• 👥 Receive support from a dedicated work‑based mentor

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (Grade 4‑9 / A*‑C)

• Two A Levels (A*‑C), including one STEM subject
• BTEC Level 3 National Certificate in a relevant subject (Merit or Distinction)

• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• A passion for IT and software development
• Integrity, commitment, and the ability to meet tight deadlines
