Seeking a Lead Mechanical HVAC Engineer to maintain, repair, and inspect mechanical building services across a busy healthcare estate. You will ensure compliance with regulatory and HTM requirements while supporting safe, efficient operations.

• Complete PPM, reactive maintenance, and repairs on HVAC and mechanical systems
• Maintain heating, ventilation, AC systems, AHUs, chilled and potable water systems
• Fault-finding, minor installations, and upgrade support
• Ensure safe working practices, infection control, and accurate record keeping
• Liaise with hospital departments with minimal disruption
• Participate in on-call rota (after qualifying period)
• Work collaboratively across the estates and facilities team

• Recognised Mechanical Apprenticeship
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
• Experience in complex building maintenance
• Strong HVAC/mechanical system knowledge
• Authorised Person Ventilation (desirable but preferred)
• Good fault-finding skills and understanding of statutory compliance
