Healthcare Assistant; Evenings & Weekends

Prestige Nursing East Lancashire is looking for healthcare assistants to join our growing team supporting individuals within their own homes and care settings. This role is for part time work covering evenings and weekends carrying out care in the commmunity. We endeavour to keep you working as close to home as possible, but you will require access to your own vehicle and a full UK driving licence.

We provide all new members with our mandatory training programme, and further client-specific training where necessary.

We offer our members a variety of work patterns with service users on care routes throughout Accrington, Blackburn, Burnley, Colne, Darwen, Nelson, and surrounding areas.

Members are typically required to work between:

• 08:00 - 14:00
• 14:00 - 22:00
• 18:00 - 22:00
• 22:00 - 07:00

Tasks may include:

• Personal care tasks; including washing and toileting
• Administering medication
• Encouraging diet and fluid intake
• Promoting independence
• Completing documentation to a high standard
• Using Prestige's call monitoring service
