Field Service Engineer

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a leading manufacturing organization known worldwide. The Quality Inspector role is commutable from the following locations:
Blackburn, Burnley, Preston.

The position involves working the following shift: Permanent Nights – Monday to Thursday, 10:00 pm to 07:30 am.

Key experience required:

• Proven experience in a skilled inspector role
• Experience inspecting milling, turning, and welding processes
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to operate CMM equipment
• Strong technical understanding and quality engineering background
• Motivated individual accustomed to heavy engineering environments
• Mechanical engineering background with time-served experience
• At least 2-3 years of experience in quality control

Key duties include:

• Conducting patrol inspections
• Managing inspection reports
• Final inspection of completed assemblies
• Handling weights up to 25kg
• Using computers for data management
• Supporting internal audits and the quality team
