Weekend CNC Programmer Correa

Up to £30 per hour

Friday to Sunday 6am-6pm

• Work within a medium to high batch machining cell.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production.
• Program, set‑up, and operate CNC machines using one or more specified control systems.
• Choose and prepare the right tools and materials for each machining job.
• Monitor CNC machines vigilantly to guarantee consistent quality in production runs.
• Conduct regular maintenance routines on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to drive continuous process improvement.
• Adhere to the highest safety standards and protocols.
• Diagnose and resolve challenges encountered during the production process.
• Stay updated on advancements in machining techniques and control systems to uphold industry‑leading standards.

• Experience with large machining (up to 10t weight and 6m length).
• Strong programming experience.
• Highest standards of H&S and Quality are essential.
• Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings and deliver conforming parts.
• Experience working with various materials, including exotic grade alloys.
• Detailed understanding of engineering drawing, tooling selection, work holding, and cutting strategy.
• Strong communication skills at all levels, with the ability to integrate and support a successful team.
