Night Shift CNC Programmer/Miller

Location:

Blackburn, Lancashire

Pay: £20 per hour plus £25 per week Attendance allowance

Hours:

Monday to Thursday 08:45pm – 06:00am

• Program, set and operate vertical CNC machining centers within a fast‑paced machining cell.
• Perform frequent and efficient setups.
• Take part in inspection processes for first‑off checks and in‑process checks.

• A minimum of 5 years post‑qualification experience in a technical machining background.
• Ability to program Mazak machines.
• Adherence to the highest standards of health & safety and quality.
• Interpret detailed engineering drawings and deliver conforming parts.
• Experience with various materials, including exotic grade alloys.
• Detailed understanding of engineering drawings, tooling selection, work holding and cutting strategy.
• Good communication skills at all levels; ability to integrate and support a successful team.
