Salary up to £65,000 plus up to £5,000 Relocation Allowance and up to £5,000 welcome bonus.

Your day‑to‑day duties will involve a mixture of consultations and surgery. You will be responsible for the work‑up and care of patients, with some sole charge responsibilities.

We offer flexible scheduling. Full‑time vets typically work four full days with one day off during the week, participating in the Saturday rota which involves 1:4/5 Saturdays with a day in lieu. There are no on‑call, out‑of‑hours or bank holiday duties, but we are open to discussing part‑time hours and other working patterns to support work‑life balance.

Town and Country Vets is a first‑opinion, small‑animal veterinary group with three sites in Blackburn, Clayton‑le‑Moor and Whalley. We are fully equipped with ultrasound, digital X‑ray and an in‑house blood machine.

The practice has 5 vets, 1 clinical director, 9 nurses, 1 VCA, 7 receptionists and 1 practice manager. Our team is friendly, caring and supportive, with many staff who have been with us for decades. Professional development is supported within the team.
