Audit and Accounts Senior

Accounts Audit Senior is required by a leading accountancy firm in Blackpool.

Your new company
A highly successful independent firm based in Blackpool is looking to appoint an Accounts Audit Senior. This role would sit alongside their Senior Leadership team and be able to successfully contribute to the continued growth of this firm.

Your new role
As an Accounts Audit Senior, you'll play a key role in leading audits from planning through to completion, preparing financial statements, and supporting junior staff. You'll work closely with a varied portfolio of clients, including SMEs and owner-managed businesses, providing high-quality service and building lasting relationships.
Key responsibilities will include :
- Lead audit assignments, including planning, fieldwork, and completion
- Prepare statutory accounts in compliance with UK GAAP
- Review work prepared by junior team members and provide mentorship
- Liaise with clients to resolve queries and provide expert advice
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations

What you'll need to succeed

ACA/ACCA qualified (or finalist with strong experience)

Proven experience in audit and accounts within a UK practice

Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail

Excellent communication and client-facing skills

Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
