This is an impactful opportunity to support rehabilitation, build brighter futures, and reduce reoffending by helping participants gain skills, confidence, and pathways into employment and training.
This varied and meaningful role will see you delivering a mix of one-to-one coaching and group activity facilitation, designed to improve life skills, social interaction, and employability. You’ll work with participants to identify barriers, build trust, and support them on their journey to reintegration and independence.
Duties:

Provide person-centred support to participants through regular 1:1 sessions and group work.
Identify learning and development needs, creating bespoke action plans to support progress.
Deliver engaging workshops focused on communication, life skills, and employment preparation.
Build rapport with participants and offer motivational coaching to support desistance and future planning.
Maintain accurate records and track outcomes on the CRM system.
Collaborate with partner organisations to identify training, employment, and education opportunities.
Offer advice, guidance, and practical support for re-engagement with the community.

Required Skills:

Experience working with offenders or individuals facing significant disadvantage or marginalisation.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
A coaching or mentoring approach, with the ability to deliver both one-to-one and group interventions.
Understanding of the criminal justice system, rehabilitation, and desistance theory.
Comfortable working in a target-driven environment with a focus on positive outcomes.
Organised, resilient, and empathetic.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the region.

Desirable:

A relevant IAG (Information, Advice & Guidance) or teaching qualification.
Knowledge of local and national employment, training, and support services.
