Service Engineer

Location: Oakdale

Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineer required for a global manufacturer of packaging machinery The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance on packaging machinery, strapping machines, stretch wrappers, conveyor systems, and other electromechanical products across the UK. This is a field-based role requiring regular travel throughout the UK and Ireland although ideally you will live within the West Midlands.

Carrying out preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and optimise machine performance Diagnosing faults, completing repairs, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently and safely Consistently delivering excellent customer service and maintaining strong working relationships with customers Producing service reports, documenting work completed, findings, and any recommended follow-up actions Communicating effectively with the service planning team to ensure accurate job records and smooth scheduling Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
Proven experience within a similar role Recognised qualification in electrical and / or mechanical engineering Prior experience servicing, repairing or maintaining electromechanical equipment is advantageous however full product training will be provided Willingness to travel and commute across the UK although predominantly based in the Midlands
