Healthcare Administration
To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of secretarial and administrative duties and the provision of administrative support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties can include but are not limited to,the processing of information (electronic and hard copy) in a timely manner,liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers in accordance with current policies, including the use of the electronic referral service (ERS).
Mainduties of the job
- Typing/ Audio typing letters, reports and associated documentation as required
- Liaising with external agencies such as hospitals and community services, ensuring referrals are processed efficiently.
- Manage all enquires in an effective manner
- Maintain an accurate referrals database
- Action all incoming tasks.
Maintaining accurate patients healthcare records. - Process referrals using the electronic referral system (ERS) and managing worklists.
- Process requests for information/ non- NHS services i.e. SAR, insurance/ solicitors letters and DVLA forms etc.
- Read code data on Systm One where required.
- Answer incoming phone calls and dealing with the callers request appropriately.
- Managing online requests and completing them in timely manner.
- Support all clinical staff with general administrative tasks as requested
- Liaise with medical representatives and help with arranging preparations as appropriate.
- Any other duties that may be reasonably expected of the post holder forthe provision of services as directed by the General Manager.

We work over 2 purpose-built sites in Bletchley with a list size of 21,000 and growing.

Responsible for carrying out a broad range of secretarial and administrative tasks, providing comprehensive support to the extended teams. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, timely processing/actioning of information in both electronic and paper formats, effective communication with team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers, and adherence to current policies. A high degree of confidentiality, sensitivity, discretion and tact is required in this role.
