Manual QA Tester

Job Title: Manual QA Tester (with Automation Exposure)
Contract Length: 4 Months
Start Date: January
Day Rate: 190/day (Outside IR35)
Location: Milton Keynes

We are looking for a Manual QA Tester to join on a 4-month contract starting in January. The role will be primarily focused on manual testing across web and mobile applications, with some involvement in test automation where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications across different devices and browsers.
• Create, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
• Identify, log, and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Support regression, functional, UAT, and exploratory testing activities.
• Assist with basic automation testing and contribute to improving test coverage where possible.
• Collaborate with product and development teams to ensure quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Manual QA Tester.
• Strong experience testing web-based and mobile applications (iOS/Android).
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies and testing best practices.
• Experience writing clear test cases and defect reports.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to test automation tools or frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
