Food & Beverage Assistant

IKEA Milton Keynes are looking to welcome Food and Beverage Assistants to join our delightful and hardworking team.

An IKEA food co-worker prepares and serves food, maintains cleanliness and safety standards, interacts with customers, and supports team operations to ensure a positive dining experience for all.

• Start date of employment will be: 30th of January 2026
• Competitive hourly rate of £14.15 per hour.
• 16hr contracts working days, evening and weekends (both weekend days) you will receive every 4th weekend off.

• While previous food and customer service experience can be beneficial, we are open to candidates who demonstrate a readiness to be actively involved in the work.
• Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment.

• Ability to remain organised and detail‑orientated, even when things get busy.

• The role will involve a variety of tasks, where you will be required to serve food, take payment at tills, clean and clear the restaurant and work behind the scenes to prepare food.

• Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co‑workers.
