ResponsibilitiesJob Overview
:
An experienced long-distance Code 14 licensed driver transporting product from one unit to another. Responsible for vehicles up to 23000tons.
Responsible for prompt delivery in bulk or bag to assigned customers and ensured that Products were delivered with no driver related defectsFuel consumption at agreed standardResponsible for inspection of tyres, lights, trailer couplings and maintaining oil and water levels to accepted standardsEnsure truck maintained in good order, including general cleanliness and condition of bodyworkResponsible for reporting defects/zero breakdownsResponsible for initial fault finding iro vehicle breakdowns, including tyre changesEnsure availability of Cell PhoneZero Speed/Traffic related finesResponsible for safety of vehicles and ensuring adherence to good driving practices including safety inspection stopsResponsible for ensuring no issued equipment or spare wheels are missingQualificationsGrade 12, Advanced Driver Training Certification advantagePDPCode 14 driver’s licence“Pepsi Co is an Equal Opportunity Employer in line with the Employment Equity Act"
