We are looking for an energetic and dynamic person to join the E&B Systems Team. This is a permanent role and is within our development team.
The role will give you the opportunity to experience a wide variety of work and develop widely transferable skills. It focuses on the support and delivery of technical digital solutions to address business problems and to support major digital transformation. We want someone to understand how digital tools can help our regulatory work and how we can build, support and develop solutions to help our staff in their front‑line work.
We are looking for a flexible individual who manages themselves and is able to lead on technical development areas and solutions. The team focuses on regulatory services and technical solutions, supporting the work of the Environment Agency.
Key Responsibilities- Support and delivery of technical digital solutions to address business problems.
- Build and support solutions that assist staff in front‑line work.
- Lead on technical development areas and solutions.
- Collaborate with operational customers to understand issues and provide effective responses.
- Develop and sustain partner relationships to deliver great outcomes.
- Digital product management experience or strong environment practitioner skills.
- Comfortable with tools such as Power Platform, SharePoint, DCP (Document Core Pack), Canvas Apps, Microsoft Access and application configuration.
- Skill in addressing the needs of internal and external customers.
- Good understanding of business problems and ability to think innovatively to develop solutions.
- Strong technical skills and ability to convey that understanding to non‑technical clients.
- Experience in collaborating with customers and establishing partnerships.
