Location:
Bognor Regis, England, United Kingdom (Bognor Neighbourhood Mental Health Team).
Qualified roles:
Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker.
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.
Travel:
Applicants must travel independently across the locality and have suitable vehicle for business purposes.

Responsibilities- Recognise potential signs of patient harm, abuse or neglect and take all reasonable steps to protect patients.
- Provide clinical advice on complex issues to other members of the clinical team and staff from other disciplines.
- Undertake urgent and priority assessments, including risk assessments.
- Make decisions and coordinate care in a crisis situation.
- Manage complex patients requiring urgent response when the Care Coordinator or Lead Professional is absent.
- Support the team in Intensive Home‑Based Treatment.
- Liaise with other services such as Police and A&E as required.
- Participate in setting quality standards and maintain a consistent approach within the team.
- Support the team in delivering interventions in accordance with the agreed care plan.
- Maintain an effective reporting system, observing and reporting verbally and in writing on patient conditions.
- Support team members with specialist assessments, e.g. application of the Mental Capacity Act 2005, Knowledge of Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, Care Act s42 regarding Safeguarding Adults and Making Safeguarding Personal.
- Maintain professional standards of care at all times.
- Band 5 or newly qualified nurse with previous mental‑health experience, or a qualified Mental Health Practitioner (Mental Health Nurse, OT, Social Worker).
- Desire to develop into a community mental‑health role.
- Experience supporting service users with mental health problems (lived experience encouraged).
- Excellent communication skills with service users, carers, third‑sector providers, and internal/external agencies.
- Experience in duty work is an advantage.
- Robust induction, supervision, appraisal, and training experience.
