About the Role

We are looking for a People Advisor on a 6‑month fixed term contract to join the team in Bognor Regis.

As a member of the resort People Team and reporting to the resort's People Partner, the People Advisor will work to enhance the experience of a 1200+ strong resort team.

Responsibilities:

  • Support leaders to be fair and consistent in their approach to Employee Relation instances and ensure all policies and processes are followed accurately.
  • Use your eye for detail to ensure continuous improvement by reviewing and auditing cases across disciplinaries, grievances, performance improvement plans, etc.
  • Use Microsoft suite and key People data to identify trends and contribute to strategies supporting and retaining the team.
  • Keep up to date with legislative changes and communicate updates across the resort to embed compliance and consistency.
  • Ensure strict GDPR procedures, store audits, records and paperwork correctly and maintain confidentiality.

This role is in person on our resort, and not a hybrid or remote role.

About You

We’re looking for a passionate and motivated individual who is either experienced in ER (preferably within a customer‑facing business) or is newly qualified and looking for their first full‑time role.

We need a confidential and professional approach, role‑model our Butler's values, communicate confidently at all levels and offer guidance on Employee Relations and well‑being.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Employee Relations or newly qualified and ready for a full‑time role.
  • Confidential and professional approach, role‑model butlin's values, strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative, confident decision making and problem‑solving skills.
  • Versatile, adaptable, always on the lookout for ways to improve.
  • A CIPD qualification would be advantageous but not essential.
