What we are looking forWe need a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer to work at several client premises, providing holiday and sickness cover with the possibility of a fixed shift pattern when opportunities arise. You will work various hours – days, nights and weekends – across sites in the Bognor Regis and Portsmouth area.

- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
- A valid SIA Front‑Line Licence – essential.
- Confidence and the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel).
- Ability to achieve vetting to BS7858 standards.
- Maintain overall site surveillance, carrying out regular patrols and recording as per Corps and customer requirements.
- Ensure all visitors and contractors are briefed and sign in and out of the site.
- Record delivery entries and exits, processing paperwork in line with site quality procedures.
- Ensure patrols meet correct standards.
- Set and unset primary and secondary alarm systems for out‑of‑hours provision, where applicable.
- Comply with site waste management procedures.
- Complete required documents: daily occurrence log, shift handover, incident/accident records and any site‑specific reports.
- Familiarise yourself with Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments and other quality & safety documents; advise Corps Duty Manager and/or client personnel on changes or recommendations.
- Maintain your own training records via the Corps Colleague Portal, ensuring up‑to‑date first aid and fire marshal training in line with legislative guidance.
- Continuously apply SIA skills, maintaining a high level of professionalism and keeping your licence displayed at all times.
- Perform ad hoc duties as directed.
