You will operate 360° cameras and other reality capture equipment to systematically document construction progress. Your work will contribute to AI systems used to analyse and monitor construction projects, so accuracy, consistency, safety and reliability are essential.
This is a part-time (one day per week), hands‑on field role. You will spend most of your working day on active construction sites, walking across large and sometimes uneven areas and working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including summer heat.
- Operate 360° cameras and other reality capture equipment to systematically document construction sites.
- Follow detailed technical capture instructions, including required coverage, camera positioning, routes and sequencing.
- Walk extensively across construction sites, including uneven terrain and changing site conditions.
- Wear and correctly use all required personal protective equipment (PPE / EPI).
- Follow each site's occupational health and safety plan (Plan de Seguridad y Salud) and the instructions of the site safety coordinator.
- Communicate daily progress and promptly flag site-access issues, hazards or safety concerns to the Project Lead.
- Report equipment issues or other factors that could affect the quality or completion of a capture.
- Handle, maintain and transport reality capture equipment responsibly.
- Adapt to different construction environments and client‑specific site requirements.
- Complete required capture records and documentation accurately.
Must Have
- A valid Tarjeta Profesional de la Construcción (TPC) or existing construction‑sector safety (PRL) training.
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods and walk extensively across active construction sites.
- Ability to work safely on uneven terrain and in varying weather conditions.
- Strong reliability and punctuality: you show up when you say you will.
- A safety‑first mindset and willingness to follow site health and safety requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently follow precise technical instructions.
- Clear and proactive communication in Spanish.
- Ability to work independently while staying connected with the Project Team.
- Ability to travel independently to assigned construction sites in and around Barcelona.
- Legal right to work in Spain.
- Bilingual:
Fluent in English (C1/C2 professional level) and Spanish
- Previous experience on active construction, civil engineering, surveying or infrastructure sites.
- Experience with 360° cameras, reality capture, laser scanning or similar technical equipment.
- Experience with structured technical procedures, inspection processes or documentation standards.
- Previous experience in a field‑based technical role.
- A valid driving licence (B).
Safety is a fundamental requirement of this role. You will work on active construction sites and must comply with Spanish occupational risk prevention law (Ley 31/1995 de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales) and each site's health and safety plan.
Before starting site work, you will complete the mandatory construction‑sector PRL training and the site‑specific induction.
Where a Tarjeta Profesional de la Construcción (TPC) or equivalent accreditation is required, the employer will arrange and cover the training and card application. Training required by the employer counts as working time.
