Applications Engineer II

We are seeking an Application Engineer II to join our growing Applications Engineering team. The responsibilities include reviewing customer/internal single-use designs, utilizing component library, bringing in additional components to use on custom/standard single-use designs. You will be supporting the release and evaluation of components and finished goods into our ERP system. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a collaborative environment.

You will be part of a cross functional team of 26 highly motivated and collaborative colleagues that guides customers in selection of various single use design configurations. This aligns with business preferred raw material and works closely with the commercial team to convert customer conceptual design into a product solution that meets customer applications’ needs.

• Working closely with commercial team, convert customer conceptual design into a product solution that meets customer applications need. High concentration in Silicone and Thermoplastic manufacturing and development.

• Guide customer in selection of various raw materials that aligns with business preferred raw material.

• Generate finish product cost estimates

• Product setup in ERP system which includes but not limited to creating Item Master, manufacturing router and Bill of materials.

• Initiate / Approve Engineering Change Orders for raw materials and finished products

• Building detailed raw material specifications which includes regulatory / compliance information, physical properties, application, sterilization, etc.

• Works cross-functionally with commercial, manufacturing, and engineering teams.

• Supports continuous improvement and innovation across product development and manufacturing.

• Travel required
