Director Nursing Operations and Virtual Care

For our client, we are seeking a Director Nursing Operations and Virtual Care to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This leader will guide nursing operations and virtual care strategy with a focus on strengthening patient safety, consistency, and operational performance across care settings. The role will help shape governance, policies, and execution standards for technology-enabled nursing services that support bedside teams and improve care delivery. This leader will also partner across clinical, operational, and administrative stakeholders to drive quality outcomes, resource optimization, and a more integrated model of care.

Location:

Remote

Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000 annually

• Lead the strategy and performance framework for inpatient virtual nursing and patient safety observation care
• Establish policies and performance expectations to ensure consistent execution across regions
• Accountable for quality outcomes and operational performance
• Provide oversight of inpatient virtual nursing programs and staffing
• Standardize virtual nursing practices and integrate them with bedside care
• Lead governance and policy for in-person and virtual observation programs
• Optimize safety and resource utilization through operational insights

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing
• Master’s degree in nursing, healthcare administration, business, informatics, or a related field
• 5 years of progressive healthcare or nursing leadership experience
• Expertise in enterprise strategy, governance, and operational design
• Strong knowledge of nursing operations, workforce management, and technology-enabled care
• Proficiency in analytics and financial management
