For our client, we are seeking a Principal Strategic Researcher to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space.
This role will help shape product and business decisions through strategic, customer-centered research in a complex and evolving environment. You will partner closely with senior leaders to identify the most important questions, uncover actionable insights, and strengthen how the organization understands and serves its customers. The work calls for a strong mix of research depth, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate findings into clear direction.
Location:
Remote
Compensation: $173,000 – $290,900 annually
Responsibilities- Identify key customer-focused questions in ambiguous areas
- Design and execute mixed-methods research to influence decision-making
- Shape product strategy through collaboration with senior leaders
- Build and refresh foundational customer understanding through strategic research
- Elevate research quality and customer judgment alongside colleagues
- Leverage AI tools to enhance research capabilities and creativity
- 10+ years of experience in product-focused research environments
- Extensive mixed-methods research toolkit with tailored approaches for various challenges
- Proven track record of influencing product or business direction through strategic research
- Strong storytelling skills with the ability to engage senior leaders and build trusted relationships
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and define paths forward in complex situations
- Experience creating frameworks to communicate research findings effectively
- Ownership mindset, acting as a strategic operator rather than just a researcher
- Remote work flexibility from any location within the U.S.
