About the Role:

You will be joining our Mechanical Design team within the Engineering Department, working at the heart of innovation in our headquarters in Bologna.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the design and development of mechanical groups for high-performance packaging machines, supporting the evolution of our product portfolio and responding to new market demands.
You will work in a dynamic, collaborative environment, with exposure to cross-functional teams and a strong focus on technical excellence, quality, and innovation.
Activities include but are not limited to:
Designing mechanical groups for automatic cigarette packaging machines, in line with technical standards and KPIs (cost, time, quality)
Leading the design and implementation of new solutions to ensure quality, durability, and reliability of G.D machines
Providing technical support within the Engineering department and to other companies in the Group, contributing to knowledge sharing and innovation
Managing improvement requests, identifying issues, proposing solutions, and producing technical documentation for prototypes (studies, drawings, workflows, etc.) and production standards
What You Need to Be Successful:
You hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering
You have at least 5 years of experience as a mechanical designer in the Industrial Automation sector
You are confident in using 2D/3D design and simulation software; experience with Pro-E and PDM systems is a strong plus
You are fluent in English
You are a team player with a proactive attitude and a passion for technical problem-solving
