We work closely with architects, analytics teams and business stakeholders to enable scalable, governed and insight‑driven data solutions. We are looking for a Senior SAP Datasphere / Data Modeling Consultant to join our SAP Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will focus on data modeling, semantic design and integration, enabling analytics and planning use cases across SAP and non‑SAP platforms.

This role is centered on data design quality, modeling best practices and collaboration with analytics and architecture teams.
What You'll Be Doing

Design and implement data models and semantic layers in SAP Datasphere
Build and manage spaces, views, and data flows in Datasphere
Integrate SAP Datasphere with SAP source systems (S/4

HANA, BW/4

HANA)
Support integration scenarios with non‑SAP data platforms where applicable
Apply best practices for data modeling, performance, security and governance
Collaborate with SAP Analytics Cloud teams to enable reporting and planning use cases
Participate in solution design and architecture discussions
Support documentation, knowledge sharing and mentoring activities

What You’ll Bring Along

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
Minimum 5‑10 years of experience in SAP data, BI or analytics‑related roles
Strong experience in data modeling and semantic layer design
Hands‑on experience with SAP Datasphere (or strong background in SAP HANA / BW with transition to Datasphere)
Understanding of analytical modeling concepts (facts, dimensions, hierarchies)
Good understanding of SAP BTP concepts (connectivity, security, integrations)
Experience working with SAP data sources (S/4

HANA, BW/4

HANA)

Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud consumption of Datasphere models
Exposure to cloud data platforms (Azure, Snowflake, Databricks)
Familiarity with data governance or Data Mesh concepts
Awareness of AI‑enabled analytics and emerging SAP data innovations
Interest in future SAP data platforms such as Business Data Cloud (BDC)
SAP certifications in data, analytics or HANA
Ability to collaborate with analytics, architecture and business teams
Strong communication skills and fluent English (German is nice to have)
