Flt Counterbalance Driver

Job description:

Orbital are recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading specialists in high-performance lubricant manufacture and distribution, with over 25 years of industry experience. We are currently looking for experienced Plant Operative with a CB license to join the team at their Bolsover, Chesterfield site.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently

* Filling barrels, IBCs, containers with product according to instruction, regulations, and guidelines

* Moving/transporting products/raw materials to assist stock management

* Loading and unloading of products/raw materials from vehicles

* Stacking and storing products in designated areas

* Yard duties as assigned

* Ensuring all goods are transported without damage

* Computer work, SAGE, Outlook, and printer programmes (changing media)

* Completing basic documentation and following site procedures

* Stock checks

* Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed and promoting a good H&S culture on Site

Requirements:

* A valid FLT Counterbalance licence (in house licences cannot be accepted).

* Experience of 5S, 6 Sigma desirable but not essential

* Previous experience in a similar warehouse or production environment

* Good awareness of health and safety

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This position will start as a temporary role with a view to go perm after 6 weeks

Hours of Work:

* Monday to Friday - rotational shifts - 06:00 – 14:00 / 14:00-22:00

Pay:

 * £12.57 per hour
