Volunteer Hair Dresser

The community needs of the Town of Caledon have been the focus of Caledon Community Services (CCS) since 1971.

Mission: To help people help themselves by working creatively and responding to community needs.

CCS is a non-profit organization that provides health care and community services to the residents of Caledon.
CCS supports assisted living for seniors, newcomer services, youth and employment services, specialized transportation services, food support, and referrals to community resources.

• On September 4th 2025
  , The Exchange will be offering haircuts to our clients
  . Exchange staff will schedule client haircuts based on a schedule provided by the hairdresser.
• Hairdressers will provide free standard haircuts to those scheduled by us.

• Provide a meaningful experience from servicing The Exchange clients

• Skilled hairdressers that can perform simple haircuts for children and adults.
• Clients will be expected to come with their hair washed.
• Hairdressers must have their own equipment (ie: scissors, combs, spray bottle, cleaning solutions for the equipment) Adults will be allowed if we do not have enough children scheduled.

This is a Long Term (More than 6 months) commitment
Shifts are available on the following days
